Pada bahan utama misalnya penggunaan potato flake yang merupakan bahan utama untuk pembuatan krupuk kentang. Yang menjadi perhatian disini adalah dalam proses pembuatan potato flake, kemungkinan penggunaan emulsifier (pengemulsi).

Sedangkan yang perlu dikritisi pada penggunaan bahan lainnya adalah flavor, MSG , anticaking dan jika minyak digunakan dalam proses pembuatannya. Bumbu /seasoning umumnya terdiri dari campuran gula, garam , MSG dan flavor serta penggunaan anticaking. Seperti dijelaskan di atas maka MSG, Flavor serta anticaking adalah bahan-bahan yang harus dikritisi kehalalannya.

Pembuatan snack bisa merupakan proses ektrusi atau simulasi atau hanya perajangan bahan, sangat tergantung dari jenis snack-nya sendiri. Misalnya saja krupuk kentang/ubi proses pembuatannya melalui penepungan terlebih dulu, dijadikan adonan untuk kemudian dibentuk dan digoreng. Selanjutnya setelah didinginkan ditambahkan bumbu/seasoning yang dinginkan.

Begitu banyaknya produk makanan ringan yang ada di pasaran. Produsennya mulai dari industri rumah tangga hingga produsen besar. People will pour out their money to buy presents, decoration, material, food, and clothing. Windows and doors will be decorated with red colour paper-cuts and couplets with popular themes of “happiness”, “wealth”, and “longevity”. On the Eve of Chinese New Year, supper is a feast with families. Food will range from pigs, to ducks, to chicken and sweet delicacies. The family will end the night with firecrackers. Early the next morning, children will greet their parents by wishing them a healthy and happy new year, and receive money in red paper envelopes. The Chinese New Year tradition is a great way to reconcile forgetting all grudges, and sincerely wish peace and happiness for everyone.
